Making changes
The cashier may make changes to tickets that have already been paid. He may void checks or reprint a check receipt. Please read the section on transferring information to the General Ledger to understand the implications of changing paid tickets from prior dates.

Voiding Payments
Check, cash or ATM payments which were made in payment of all or part of a single ticket can be voided using the Pay Ticket by number or the Pay Ticket by Customer menu options. Voiding of cash payments assume that the cash was not disbursed to the customer or was returned by the customer. Voiding of ATM payments requires that the card has not been used or that the money is returned to a cash drawer. When a check payment is voided in this screen, the corresponding check is voided. Checks that have been cleared using the Back Office; Cashier; Record Cleared Checks process cannot be voided. Payments that are part of a multi-ticket transaction cannot be voided using the single ticket options, but can be voided using either the Void ATM or the Void Check options.

Voiding Multi Payment Checks
Checks which were written in payment of multiple tickets can be voided using the Void Check menu option. To void the check requires only the entry of the check number. The system will display a list of A/P detail records that will be voided along with the check. Checks that have been cleared using the Back Office; Cashier; Record Cleared Checks process cannot be voided.

Changing ATM Transactions
The first step in changing an ATM transaction is identifying the transaction. When you select either 'Void ATM Card' or 'Verify or Reswipe ATM Card', the system will display this screen. The transaction number can either be read from the ATM card of entered manually. Note; this is the transaction number, not the ticket number. If you don't have the card, you can find the transaction number on the cashier receipt or you can find the ticket number on the Cashier Report which also shows the matching transaction number.

Voiding ATM Card
If a valid transaction number is entered or read from the card, then the following screen will be displayed.

Verify or Reswipe ATM Card
If a valid transaction number is entered or read from the card, then the following screen will be displayed. Any data that is actually read from the card appears in the top section. The statsu of the card as retrieved from the ATM machine appears in the middle section and the data from Scrap Dragon appears in the bottom section. If the card has not been used in the ATM machine, you will be given the opportunity to reswipe the card to refresh the data on the card.

Reprint Receipt
This option on the cashier menu permits a customer receipt to be reprinted and has no effect on cash, cash drawers, or A/P transactions.
