Hold Screen Descriptions
In the process of creating a ticket, you may be required to put a ticket on 'hold'. This would happen after you have read the gross weight of the customer's vehicle and he needs to leave the scale to unload his commodities. When the vehicle leaves the scale a description can be associated with the ticket number, so that the scale operator can retrieve the correct ticket when the customer returns for his tare weight. The screen the scale operator will see when he is putting a ticket on hold looks like this:

In addition to the alphanumeric keyboard, there are 21 pre-defined buttons to speed the description entry. The program has 9 colors predefined and there are an additional 12 buttons (circled in yellow above) which you can customize for your use.

To create or modify the labels for these buttons: from the Maintenance menu, select Setup; Hold Screen Descriptions

Each entry needs an order # and description; the maximum is 12 buttons. Select any line to edit the order # and description. Use the Add button to add more items and descriptions. Use the Delete button to delete descriptions you may not need. Save your changes before you exit.
