Procedures for viewing & retrieving Tickets

From the main buying screen, the operator can view the tickets in each stage of processing.

Viewing & retrieving Held tickets
When a customer returns to be re-weighed, the operator will select the View Held button from the main buying screen.

The view held list will display all of the customers on the yard, beginning with the earliest. The returning customer should be near the top of the list. The operator can go to the next page, if necessary, to find the customer's ticket, and then can simply touch the description to bring the ticket back up onto the screen. Alternatively, if a yard ticket was printed and given to the customer when the ticket was placed on hold, the scale operator can key or barcode scan the ticket number from the Yard Ticket.

The ticket is then redisplayed in the ticket entry screen and the scale operator can enter the tare weight, as well as price changes and deducts, if any. The operator can then complete the ticket process.

Viewing & retrieving Closed tickets
In some instances it may be necessary to retrieve a ticket which was closed. This can happen if a customer disputes something on the ticket after it is closed and printed. It is also useful to reprice tickets for industrial accounts at the end of the month. The operator presses the View closed button in the main buying screen and the closed ticket list appears:

The view closed list will display all of the closed tickets, beginning with the latest. A recent ticket should be near the top of the list. The operator can go to the next page, if necessary, to find the customer's ticket, and then can simply touch the ticket number to bring the ticket back up onto the screen. Alternatively, the scale operator can key or barcode scan the ticket number from the Closed Ticket.

The ticket is then redisplayed in the ticket entry screen and the user can make any required adjustments. The user can then complete the ticket process.

Viewing Paid tickets
Once a ticket is paid, it cannot be modified at the scale. However, in some instances it may be necessary to determine if a ticket has been paid. To view paid tickets, the operator presses the View Paid button in the main buying screen and the paid ticket list appears:

The paid ticket list will display all of the paid tickets, beginning with the latest. A recent ticket should be near the top of the list. The operator can go to the next page, if necessary, to find the customer's ticket, and then can simply touch the ticket number to bring the ticket back up onto the screen. Alternatively, the scale operator can key or barcode scan the ticket number from the Paid Ticket.

The ticket receipt is then redisplayed but no changes are permitted. The user remains in the Main Buying Screen.
