Voiding Multipayment Checks

The cashier can void a check by by selecting the 'Void Multipayment Checks' button. The cashier will need to enter the check number. A confirmation screen will pop up, which looks like this:

If the cashier presses the 'Void This Check' button, the system will ask twice more for confirmation that this is in fact what the operator wishes to do, before the check is deleted. The status of the tickets will return to 'closed and unpaid'.

The checks which have been voided will appear on the cashier report Check register voided checks.

The cashier may pay a single ticket, (either by cash or a check), pay cash for multiple tickets to one customer, pay check for multiple tickets to one customer , void a multi payment check or reprint a check receipt. If you are operating with a number of cashiers and different drawers, you may have options to Change Drawers, Add or remove cash or close out a drawer.
