The Deductions screen is used to add multiple deductions at one time by touching the Add button.

The Deductions screen is divided into several areas:

• The By Percent % is used when you choose to add a deduction as a percentage of the net weight of the commodity. There may only be one deduction if By Percent % is selected.
• Deductions list along the left side shows the list of deductions added.
• List of deduction types along the left below the deductions list. Choose one for each deduction added.
• The deduction weight / amount field shows the keyboard entries.
•  The numeric keypad where you add the deduction. Touch OK to confirm the entry and Update Ticket when you have added all deductions. You will be returned to the ticket.

 

Here's an example showing two deductions - one by weight and one by dollar amount.

 

You may also add a deduction by percent. However, only one deduction by percent is allowed.

 

Button	Description
	Add a deduction line item.
	Remove the deduction line item.
	Clear the entry.
	Clear all entries Confirms the deduction.
	Backspace.
	Confirm the deduction.
	Close the deductions without making changes.
	Updates the ticket to show the deductions.

 

Deductions are set up as a User Defined List.
